Blackwater Maldon: eConsult changed. Here is the current route
Blackwater Medical Centre used eConsult previously, but the practice announced that Accurx replaced eConsult from 1 April 2025. That matters if you have an old bookmark or have reached an outdated search result.

Cancelling an appointment
If you cannot attend, contact the practice as early as possible. Blackwater publishes telephone, text and online cancellation routes. Its online cancellation form is for appointments more than 24 hours ahead, excluding weekends and public holidays.

Test Results: Use the Published Phone Window
Blackwater says test results can be requested Monday to Friday from 10:00 to 13:00 by calling 01621 876760 and choosing option 4.
Follow the surgery’s results process and any instructions given when your test was organised.
Blackwater warns that consultant-requested investigations do not necessarily return to the GP surgery. You may need to contact the consultant’s hospital team.

Home Visits and Extended Access
Home visits
Blackwater says home visits are at the doctor’s discretion. If a patient genuinely needs one, the practice asks for the request to be made by telephone before 10:00.
Evening and weekend appointments
Extended-access appointments may be offered face to face or by telephone. Some weekend face-to-face appointments take place at another location, which reception will confirm when booking.

Parking and Accessibility at Princes Road
