If you searched “eConsult”, use Littlebury’s current Total Triage route
The most useful 2026 correction is simple: Littlebury’s live booking guidance now describes Accurx Total Triage as the standard way it manages GP, ANP and patient requests.
That means an old eConsult result or saved link is not the best place to start. Use the practice’s current appointment page, telephone reception if the form is difficult, or ask at reception in person.
Total Triage Current live practice route
Choose the Task Before You Choose the Website or Phone Line
Littlebury publishes several online services. They are not interchangeable, and using the task-specific route is often clearer than sending everything as a general GP request.
| What you need | Best starting route | Useful detail | Common mistake |
|---|---|---|---|
| GP or clinical help | Accurx Total Triage | Littlebury says appointment and patient requests are reviewed first so they can be directed appropriately. | Searching for an old eConsult login and assuming it is still the live practice route. |
| Cannot use the online form | Reception: 01406 422231 | The practice says reception can help or complete the request with you over the phone. | Assuming digital access is mandatory. |
| Repeat prescription | NHS App, SystmOnline, prescription form or phone route | Littlebury has separate repeat-prescription options, including a dedicated 24/7 ordering line for patients who have the required PIN. | Sending a routine medicine request as a GP appointment query. |
| Test result | NHS App / online records / results form | The current results form says online queries are normally answered within 5 working days. | Phoning at a time when the dedicated results service is not operating. |
| New patient registration | Official online registration or reception | Littlebury says permanent registrations normally need to be inside its practice boundary. | Assuming living in Holbeach automatically means your full address is inside the catchment. |
| Home visit | Call 01406 422231 | Littlebury asks patients to request daytime home visits before 10:30am where possible. | Treating a home visit as a normal online booking slot. |
“eConsult” Is Not the Best 2026 Starting Point
Older public references and patient searches can still use the words eConsult or e-consult. Littlebury’s live appointment information now says it is fully operating a Total Triage system and links patients to an Accurx patient-initiated request.
Use the Accurx request linked from Littlebury’s current appointment page.
Phone reception or visit the practice. Littlebury says staff can complete the same request process with you.
Go back to the practice website rather than assuming a historic eConsult or booking URL still represents the live system.
This situation is not unique locally. Our Beechfield Medical Centre guide for Spalding explains another nearby practice where people still search “eConsult” even though the live route is Accurx-based.
By contrast, some surgeries still genuinely use eConsult. The Peaseway Medical Centre eConsult guide is a useful example of why the product name should always be checked against the individual practice rather than assumed from the search term.
How to Request GP Help Through Littlebury’s Current System
Open the current Littlebury appointment page
Start from Littlebury Medical Centre’s booking guidance. This page currently identifies Total Triage as the standard model.
Use the Accurx request linked by the practice
The current page points to the Accurx patient-initiated form for organisation code C83065. Enter confidential health information only on that official practice-linked service.
Give enough information for triage
Littlebury’s online guidance asks patients to describe the problem and provide enough information for the team to decide the appropriate route. Do not submit repeated forms for the same issue unless the practice tells you to.
Wait for the practice’s response
Submitting the form does not itself mean a face-to-face GP slot has been booked. The outcome may be advice, further contact, tests or an appointment, depending on the request.
If you cannot use the form, call or attend reception
Littlebury explicitly says reception staff can help patients who have difficulty using the online system. Main telephone: 01406 422231.
Submitting a Form Is Not the Same as Booking a Slot
Littlebury’s separate Online Triage guidance is especially useful for understanding this distinction. It describes an online route for routine queries and says requests may result in a GP response, tests or a request to arrange an appointment.
One problem per form
Littlebury asks patients to submit one problem per online form and give enough detail about what is happening.
Some queries can be answered remotely
The practice says some requests may be handled by SMS without needing an immediate face-to-face consultation.
Routine online-query timing
Littlebury’s Online Triage page says patients using that routine query route should expect a response within two working days.
Littlebury Is Not a “Sit and Wait” Walk-In GP Service
The current booking page specifically says the surgery does not operate a walk-in “sit and wait to be seen” system. Travelling to Fishpond Lane without an arranged route does not guarantee you will be seen by a clinician.
When you have an appointment
Littlebury asks patients to make sure the surgery knows they have arrived. The practice says self check-in screens are available, with reception help if the screen causes difficulty.
If you cannot attend
You can cancel online or call 01406 422231. The practice’s cancellation form asks patients to try to cancel at least 24 hours in advance where possible.
The online cancellation form asks for the appointment date, your name, date of birth, postcode and contact details. It may ask for an NHS number, but the practice says the NHS number is not essential for cancelling through that form.
Surgery, Dispensary and Telephone Times Are Different
This is one of the most useful Littlebury-specific details: the building, dispensary and individual telephone services do not all operate on exactly the same timetable.
| Service | Published time | What that means |
|---|---|---|
| Surgery | Monday–Friday, 8:00am–6:30pm | Normal weekday practice opening. The practice says it closes on bank holidays. |
| Dispensary | Monday–Friday, 8:30am–6:30pm | The dispensary starts later than the surgery itself. |
| Appointment telephone line | 8:00am–6:30pm | Use the main number when telephone support is needed. |
| Home-visit requests | 8:00am–10:30am | Request a daytime visit before 10:30am where possible. |
| Results telephone service | Official pages differ | One page lists 1:00pm–3:00pm; the dedicated results page says to call after 2:00pm. |
| Dispensary queries | 2:00pm–3:00pm | This is the published enquiry window, not the full dispensary opening time. |
Evening and Saturday Appointments Are Pre-Booked Enhanced Access
Littlebury participates in Enhanced Access through the local primary care network. Its current information describes appointments outside normal practice hours, including weekday evenings and Saturdays.
Weekday core opening begins.
Core weekday hours finish.
–20:00 Enhanced Access
Current guidance describes weekday evening appointments, subject to booking and availability.
08–17 Saturday network access
Current PCN information describes pre-booked Saturday access.
Different Lincolnshire practices organise extended and same-day access differently. Our Millview Medical Centre booking guide is a useful comparison if you want to understand why one GP’s online opening window should never be assumed to apply to another.
Repeat Prescriptions and the Littlebury Dispensary
Littlebury is a dispensing GP practice for some eligible patients, but surgery dispensing is not automatically available to everyone. The current prescription page says patients who live more than one mile from a pharmacy may be able to collect medication from the surgery.
NHS App
Use your NHS account to request eligible repeat medicines.
SystmOnline
Littlebury also supports repeat ordering through SystmOnline.
Online prescription form
The practice says this is useful when you cannot use its other online prescription services.
Telephone ordering
The main practice number offers prescription ordering, and Littlebury also publishes a separate 24/7 ordering line.
Test Results and Blood-Test Appointments
Checking a result
Littlebury says results can be accessed through supported online services, including the NHS App, and it provides an online results enquiry form.
The current results form says online result queries are normally answered within 5 working days.
Blood-test clinic
Littlebury says its dedicated blood-test appointments are approximately 5 minutes.
If a hospital requested the blood test, the practice says you must bring the hospital request form or the appointment may need to be rearranged.
Registering: Check the Littlebury Practice Boundary First
Littlebury’s current registration guidance says permanent patients normally need to live inside its practice boundary. Registration is free.
Open Littlebury’s official registration page
Use the official Littlebury registration service or ask reception for a paper form.
Check that your address is eligible
The practice says it does not normally accept permanent registrations from outside its catchment area. Contact reception if your address is close to the boundary.
Complete the registration information
The online process asks for the information needed to register you and can take around 15 minutes.
Do not assume ID is legally required to register
Littlebury and national NHS guidance say you do not need an NHS number, proof of address, proof of immigration status or ID simply to register. Supporting documents can still be useful for record matching or particular administrative checks.
Plan ahead if you take regular medicine
Littlebury warns that transferring records from a previous surgery can take time and advises new patients taking regular medication to avoid leaving the registration process until they are nearly out.
If your address falls outside Littlebury’s area, our NHS GP and medical-centre finder guide explains how to search by postcode and verify another practice’s registration boundary before submitting a new application.
Home Visits Have a Specific Morning Request Window
Littlebury says home visits are intended for patients whose condition means they cannot attend the surgery. They are not an alternative simply because travelling is inconvenient.
Phone 01406 422231 before 10:30am where possible for a daytime home-visit request.
Littlebury says requests are triaged for necessity and urgency. Requesting a visit does not automatically mean one will be allocated.
Accessibility, Hearing Support and Online Accounts
Hearing support
Littlebury’s accessibility statement says audio induction loops are available and that a text relay service is provided for people who are D/deaf, hearing impaired or have a speech impediment.
BSL interpreter
The practice says a British Sign Language interpreter can be arranged if you contact it before your visit.
Proxy access
Littlebury publishes guidance for carers, parents and relatives who need authorised online access on another patient’s behalf. Contact reception for the current setup process.
NHS App and SystmOnline
Littlebury supports both NHS App/NHS account functions and SystmOnline. Published functions include repeat medication, supported appointment management, results and record access.
Some higher-level record access may require additional identity verification by the practice. Follow Littlebury’s own online-services instructions rather than assuming every NHS App feature is automatically enabled.
CQC Rating and NHS Organisation Identity
Overall: Good
CQC currently displays an overall Good rating for Littlebury Medical Centre.
Inspection report date
The current CQC profile displays a report published on 12 March 2019.
Later information review
CQC reviewed available information on 6 July 2023 and did not find evidence requiring reassessment at that stage.
CQC registers Littlebury as a GP practice and lists regulated activities including treatment of disease, disorder or injury, diagnostic and screening procedures, family planning, surgical procedures, and maternity and midwifery services.
NHS code C83065
The NHS Data Security and Protection Toolkit identifies Littlebury Medical Centre as organisation C83065, with primary sector General Practice (GP).
Its published toolkit history shows the 2025–26 assessment as “Standards met”, published on 12 May 2026. That is a data-security status, not a clinical-quality rating.
If the Usual Route Does Not Work
| Problem | Why it happens | Useful next step |
|---|---|---|
| You searched for Littlebury eConsult | Older wording can remain in search results or public documents. | Start again from Littlebury’s current appointment page and use its Accurx Total Triage route. |
| You cannot complete Accurx | Digital access or form difficulty. | Call 01406 422231 or ask reception to help complete the request. |
| You submitted a form but have no appointment time | A triage request is not automatically an appointment booking. | Read the practice response and follow the next instruction given. |
| Prescription pages show different turnaround times | Littlebury currently has older and newer prescription pages with different wording. | Use the current repeat-prescription service page, order early and contact the practice if timing is critical. |
| You are unsure when to phone for results | One practice page lists 1pm–3pm while another says after 2pm. | 2pm–3pm is the overlap; alternatively use the NHS App or online results route. |
| Registration says you are outside the area | Littlebury applies a practice boundary. | Confirm with reception or search for another GP serving your postcode. |
| Surgery is closed and the problem is urgent | Routine GP booking is not the correct out-of-hours route. | Use NHS 111 for urgent non-life-threatening help; call 999 for a life-threatening emergency. |

Littlebury Booking and NHS GP FAQs
Does Littlebury Medical Centre still use eConsult?
Littlebury’s current live appointment page describes Accurx Total Triage as its standard system. Patients may still see “eConsult” in older search results or public wording, but the safest current route is to start from Littlebury’s official appointment page.
How do I request a GP appointment at Littlebury in 2026?
Open Littlebury’s current booking page and use the Accurx Total Triage form linked there. The practice reviews the request and directs it to an appropriate next step rather than treating the form as an automatically booked GP slot.
What if I cannot use Accurx or do not have internet access?
Call Littlebury reception on 01406 422231 or visit reception. The practice says staff can help patients complete the request process by telephone or in person.
What are Littlebury Medical Centre’s normal opening hours?
The official practice page lists the surgery as open Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 6:30pm, excluding bank holidays. The dispensary is listed Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 6:30pm.
Can I walk in and wait to see a GP at Littlebury?
No. Littlebury’s current booking guidance says it does not operate a “sit and wait” walk-in system. Use the practice’s appointment route or contact reception before travelling for GP help.
How do I cancel a Littlebury appointment?
You can use the practice’s online cancellation form or call 01406 422231. Littlebury asks patients to try to cancel at least 24 hours in advance where possible so the appointment can be offered to someone else.
How can I order a repeat prescription from Littlebury?
Littlebury lists the NHS App, SystmOnline, an online form and telephone ordering. The main number is 01406 422231, and the practice also publishes a 24/7 prescription ordering line on 01406 438959 for patients with the required PIN.
When should I contact Littlebury for test results?
Results can be checked through supported online services or the practice’s results form. For telephone results, Littlebury pages currently publish both 1pm–3pm and “after 2pm”; 2pm–3pm is the overlap between those two published instructions.
Do I need ID to register with Littlebury Medical Centre?
Littlebury and NHS guidance say you do not need ID, proof of address, proof of immigration status or an NHS number simply to register. Permanent registration normally requires your address to fall within the Littlebury practice boundary.
What should I do if Littlebury is closed and I need urgent help?
Use NHS 111 online or call 111 for urgent medical help that is not life-threatening. For a life-threatening emergency, call 999. Enhanced Access appointments are pre-booked and are not an emergency service.
